"O Living Temple! We have, in very truth, appointed Thee to be the sign of My majesty amidst all that hath been and all that shall be, and have ordained Thee to be the emblem of My Causes betwixt the heavens and the earth, through My word "Be", and it is!
The First Letter of this Temple, betokening the Essence of Divinity!4 We have made thee the treasury of My Will and the repository of My Pupose unto all who are in the kingdoms of revelation and creation. This is but a token of the grace of Him Who is the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsising. O Second Letter of this Temple, betokening My name, the Almighty! We have made thee the manifestion of Our sovereignty and the dayspring of Our Names. Potent am I to fulfill that which My tongue speaketh. O Third Letter of this Temple, betokening My name, the All-Bountiful! We have made thee the dawning-place of Our bounty amidst Our creatures and the fountainhead of Our generosity amidst Our people. Powerful am I in My dominion. Nothing whatsoever of all that hath been created in the heavens or on the earth can escape My knowledge, and I am the True One, the Knower of things unseen."...... then on page 24 "O Fourth Letter of this Temple, betokening the attribute of Grace! We have made the the manifestation of grace betwixt earth and heaven, From thee have We generated all grace in the contingent world, and unto thee shall We cause it to return. And from thee shall We manifest it again, through a word of Our command. Potent am I to accomplish whatsoever I desire through My word "Be", and it is! Every grace that appearerth in the world of being hath originated from thee, and unto thee shall it return. This, verily, is what hath been ordained in a Tablet which We have preserved behind the veil of glory and concealed from mortal eyes. Well is it with them that deprive themselves not of this manifest and unfailing grace." The Summons of the Lord of Hosts pages 21 and 24 The Temple spoken of here is the Divine Jerusalem or the Holy of Holies. In Some Answered Questions page 59-60 Abdul Baha explains that the Holy of Holies(in Greek the Holiest of the Holies) can be "entered into" (learned about) and also explains that in the time of the Seventh Angel, the entire Law of God (the Holiest of the Holies) will be unveiled to all men without reservation. "`And the temple of God was opened in heaven` means that the divine Jedrusalem is found, and the Holy jof Holies has become visible. The Holy of Holies, according to the terminology of the people of wisdom, is the essence of the Divine Law, and the heavenly and true teachings of the Lord, which have not been changed in the cycle of any Prophet, as it was before explained. The sanctuary of Jerusalem is likened to the reality of the Law of God, which is the Holy of the Holie; and all the laws, conventions, rites and material regulations are the city of Jerusalem-this is why it is called the heavenly Jerusalem. Brriefly, asw in this cycle the Sun of Reality will make the light jof God shine with the utmost splendor, therefore, the essence of the teachings of God will be realized in the world of existence, and the darkness of ignorance and want of knowledge will be dispelled. The world will prevail. So the Holy of Holies will appear. "`And the temple of God was opened in heaven` means also that by the diffusion of the divine teachings, the appearance of these heavenly mysteries, and the rising of the Sun of Reality (a Prophet), the doors of success and prosperity will be opened in all directions, and the signs of goodness and heavenly benedictions will be made plain." http://www.maitreya.org/english/PBaha`i.htm This is what i am saying that the Temple spoken of is the Holy of the Holies or the Holiest of the Holies. The word Haykal(in english, temple), as is said in the end notes on page 237 of Summons of the Lord of Host as it refers to the former quote is of four letters Ha`, Ya`, Kaf and Lam (HYKL) Ha` symbolizes,Essence of Divinity- Ya` symbolizes, Almighty- Kaf, symbolizes All-Bountiful- Lam symbolizes Grace. Now to explain why there is now four letters, letters that now represent the Temple or the Holy of the Holies, i will give a quote from Maitreya (Seventh Angel), just prior to quote He was talking about the Plan of God as it went with Abraham, i.e. Prophet Muhammad came from the Ishmael Lineage, and Esa (Christ) came from Isaac, Bab came from the Lineage of Prophet Muhammad, and Maitreya is from both Lineages ect "Parallel to this Plan, there was another Plan! This one was the One for the people of the Far East. These people believe in the Mystical Paths and believe in reincarnation strongly. They have had thier own understanding of the Plan of God, their own Prophecies and beliefs. This Plan and what is described above (Children of Abram/Abraham, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, etc.) seemed to be incompatable with one another, until NOW. From these religions (Mystical Paths) and their Revelations came the Revelations from Baba (Anandamurti, Mr. Sarkar, my Spiritual teacher). They are clearly included in The Greatest Sign, and the Sixth Seal is the only One that did not follow what has been Revealed to the Judeo/Christian/Islamic/Bab/Bahai religions. Of course, this is just an appearance, as God clearly has fortold of its coming in the Bible(the Sixth Seal). Baba indeed has fulfilled many prophecies in Hindu (and maybe even other) religions, and it is mentioned in the Bible that He would come." Passing of the Scepter page 3 http://www.maitreya.org/FILES/THOTH/...he_scepter.htm So the four Letter of the Temple are: Bab, Bahaullah, Baba, Maitreya, and in that order. |

The only mention in the Baha`i Writings of "the seventh angel" are in a single essay in Some Answered Questions which is a commentary on the eleventh chapter of Revelations. Its not a Baha`i linguistic symbol at all. Baha`u'llah never used the term, and that is not what He's talking about.
Maitreya has nothing to do with the Baha`i explanation of Revelation, rather the station of this angel is part of the proclamation of Baha`u'llah. No cigar again. Regards, Scott
