Jocose, I may have done it myself (misadvertently); don't you think that referring to IndigoChild as 'he' - ie in the third person, in front of HIM (Got to change my way of thinking), is a trifle bad-mannered.....I must check and see that I have not made the same mistake........ , but that will be for another time. tonight, it is goodnight from me, and its goodnight from him (and all the English on the forum will no doubt remember that wonderful comedy that always ended on that note)

You were doing great until you used the term "fundies". I would suggest that it sounds suspiciously like a judgemental term to me.

I agree with some of what you said. God does judge, and he is able since he is perfect, and we shouldn't since we are completely imperfect. Most of those who claim to be Christian don't know how to forgive or even how to love. I am still working on both. Jesus would have made a lousy hippy. As a former hippy I can tell you he was FAR TOO INTENSE about spiritual concepts.

Sorry about that, it was just intended as a shortening of "fundamentalists," as it is such a very long word.

God merely observes, and does not judge. Who would She judge? There is only One of Us, and We are She.

You think hippies weren't intense at first?

Jesus was a Master. He Mastered life, as did Buddha, Krishna, Bahalula (spelling?), and Mohummad (sp?).

"Fundamentalists" is just as judgemental. Have I used it? Unfortunately, yes. But it's a misnomer at best, and they are better characterized as "extremists" instead. In any respect, pigeon holing any group of people is pre-judging them. We call it profiling now.

God is spirit and is niether male or female. Your gender hang up is showing. I would love to know how you know whether God judges or not. My guess is that you are also guessing.

Hippies were never intense. Yippies were, but few people know about them.
