I was recently reading up on the history of Astronomy and Astrology and came across a couple of interesting occurences. Apparently at one time there was believed to be a second moon of Earth known as the dark moon or 'Lilith' and a planet inside the orbit of Mercury named 'Vulcan.'
The belief in these planets was based off of minor orbit variations and other odd phenomenon which are now mostly explainable with modern science. However, I've heard there are quite a few practitioners of astrology who still use Lilith and Vulcan to this day. My questions are 1. If you practice astrology, do you use Lilith and Vulcan? and 2. If so, do you actually believe that they once existed or are they simply symbolic/spiritual/energy-based/etc.? Oh snap, I just realized there's a sub-sub-forum for Astrology in particular. If any mod feels it necessary, this may be moved there.

2. They would be as symbolic as all the other planets used in astrology.
