Some of the "ologies and istries" are certainly not provable.
On the other hand Divining and accupuncture and hypnotism are fairly well respected, even though the "science" behind them is not understood.
These last three were all disbelieved as tricks at one time.
Who knows what will jump that hurdle next.

I played with Tarot cards when I was young, and still collect decks. I have a sizable collection, now. And I've cast astrological charts and studied the theory behind them. As Midnight Blue said, it's not really magical, except perhaps in the wonder and enjoyment of how our minds work.

I don't 'keep quiet' about them, but I don't exactly go around preaching about them, either.
