According to a lot of the people around me, I lack a lot of the stereotypical female emotions and have the stereotypical male emotions....I guess they got this from me getting on their butts for being stupid at some points or another. When i dumped one of my ex-boyfriends in high school his friends kicked him out and kept me around instead... two different groups of his friends (and never hit on me either!!) -that was when I first noticed something funky. That was totally unexpected. I like guns, and knife throwing, and martial arts I guess... The knives and swords stuff freaks out all my friends. My dad was absolutely overjoyed with the knife throwing hobby though And proceeded to buy my a whole catalog full! ha haMy friends have abstractly confirmed for me that in many ways I am lacking something they seem to have that is... kinda not feminine. In many way I am feminine though (I got my "motherly" girly support from my best friends growing up) ![]() it just seemed to fit. The tattoo is feminine if you look at it one way, cause it is crescent moons, but if you look at it another way it is not feminine looking at all. i can just never leave stuff alone... I'm always wanting to play with things... ![]() The tattoo(s) I will eventually get for me are going to be inspired by the tattoos Amy Brown does on her fairy art. It is SO pretty! But first.... I'm gonna play with what I got!

I'm not sure if anybody brought up this suggestion since I just skimmed through the responses but would you consider making the crescent moons different colors? That way they would stand out individually and possibly not be mistaken for the hazard symbol that you said. I like that design a lot though. If you don't go with the color suggestion, maybe you can incorporate another element within/around that design that also has some meaning and significance in your life.

), my closest friend is a guy and once a week after work - in a place where women are lucky if they make up 10% of the workforce (and that's including the girls in the office) I head down the pub with the boys. Maybe it has something to do with being raised by a single father, or maybe you just had a parent who encouraged you to be who you were, regardless of who stereotypes of your sex suggested you should be.

A co-worker of mine has a tattoo of a tiger that had sunk it's claws into his back, and red marks of the skin being torn open. Now it's just a tiger looking mean. He used to work outdoors without a shirt and in a sea environment so it faded relatively quickly. So that's something to consider as well.

. They were about 3 years older than me, back when I was 12/ 13 yrs old. So they were about 16 I guess. I found out later from them that he was giving them the "recipe" for electric coolaid, and they were discussing the "correct way" to dry out and prepare a certian *home grown plant* lol!!! My dad was a nut... and still is. I didn't even find out he used to be a stoner back in day until I was 16 or so. That's how slick he was. The funniest thing too is, when my friends and I were 12 or 13 we got busted to my friends parents for smoking... by missionaries. My friends parents said, if I didn't tell my dad they would... so I broke down and was crying and talkin about how we got caught by the missionaries cause of our other freind and justa cryin... while my other busted friend was cryin on the phone with me for moral support. I was grounded for a night, my other friends were all grounded for a month. I was a little confused. Turns out my dad thought thought it was so daggum funny he hardly held it back long enough to look mad that night that I told him... then he figured since my other friends were grounded I couldn't do anything really anyway. lol

I second these thoughts, unless it is a tattoo to remind you of your dad... it doesn't sound like it. Tattoos should be something that are personal to YOU, since you will have it with you.... not to another. Sorry, haven't read all the posts yet...... Circle_One tattoo queen ![]() Quote:
I have to ask though, if you already got the tattoo... why do you ask?
