What Native American tribes? I've rarely heard of that symbol as the sun with horns.... of what tradition(s) is that? (Most of what I know say it is the sun with moon...) What is the difference in your opinion of a god/goddess and a spirit that has command/domain/protection of a certain thing? (ie... the wind)

Well, the sun god I follow doesn't have horns actually, he has wings. This symbol is the Wiccan symbol for the God, which encompasses all (male) gods. I also see the "horns" on the symbol more as sun rays more than horns. I just use it in my own terms.

I'll have to think on this more, but I think that the gods have more to do with humans than these elemental spirits. The spirits are there doing their "jobs", so the gods can focus more on guiding and mentoring us people. I think that's my stand... as I said, I'll have to think on it a bit more

Interesting.... I don't know much about either.

The winged solar disk is an ancient symbol indeed...... a powerful sybol of religious connotations that influenced many of todays big religions..... Ahura Mazda lives indeed....

If "spirits" have the "job" of influencing the elements, do "gods" not have the job of influencing humans? All is of the elements given. Perhaps that is where we differ a bit..... but I'll wait for your thinking on such things.

You're right, all is of the elements given; the spirits and the gods work together, I think. Neither job is more important than the other, both need to be done in order for the Earth to be like it is.
