I think this would be where my Native American influence would come in: The Great Spirit. Some viewed the Great Spirit as a creator, and I think I do too. I'll be doing some more research on the Great Spirit, so hopefully after that I'll be able to provide a more indepth answer ![]()

![]() Particularly fond of any totems? I'm closest to Thunderbird, Coyote, Raven (my son's name!), and Kokopelli.

Many reasons. I'm "cold-blooded" and need more heat than most people (translate that to: I get cold far too easily, I get cold in the refridgeration aisles of the supermarket, no matter how warm it gets outside!) The gods of the sun in several mythologies can represent truth and wisdom, things I hold in high regard.
A lot of pagans can agree that the Sun is represented by the Male and the Moon by the Female. Despite my being female, I feel a lot closer to masculine energies and such. One of my patron gods in a Sun God, and being his follower, I am a daughter of the Sun. The Sun is always there, I feel so strongly connected to it that I can feel it in the deepest of night. The Sun God is my teacher, my mentor, I feel that we connect in ways that I can't even begin to type out. I love to feel the rays on me, they warm me and cheer me up when I need it.

Do you think your beliefs have made you a better person? Why?
When you say "Sun God" what exactly do you mean? Do you believe every star is a God? Or that they are all representations of the same Deity?

I like to think they have, but I've really never been without beliefs so I really can't say for sure that they have made me a better person.

I believe that it's representative of the sun gods throughout the lands not all of the gods. The star itself is a fusion reactor. What I see when I look in the sky, however, is a yellow ball that provides warmth among other things; and that yellow ball represents the sun god. I have this weird melding of science and spirituality. Does that help any, or did I make it worse?
