well, I worship two gods and only one Goddess. so I guess that makes me a god worshipper in a way. in fact there are quite a few more "God worshippers" than you might think, its just since wicca is the most known pagan faith, and that it seems to focus almost completely on the Goddess part does the illusion that all pagans worship feminine deities more than male ones appear.

i really like this look on it! i'm writting an article at the moment on the Wiccan God and Goddess, when it's finished (which will take a while, i've been wanting to do a detailed look at my feelings on this subject for a while now, and i'm gonna try and do a proper job of it ) you might find it interesting to read.

I only worship the Goddess & the God myself but I have a special place in my heart fo the green man I guess that's due to the fact that I'm a very outdoorsy person.
I also believe in taking care of mother Earth (Gaia) As far has books go right now I'm reading Witchcraft: A Mystery Tradition by Raven Gramassi it's very imformative so far & cover's alot of thing's about Witchcraft in this book.

I thought I had an awesome post but one slip of the finger made it all go away. sigh.
I am a henotheistic or perhaps kathenotheistic in my pratice. I never tried to get rid of God when I started pursueing religious truth. I contince to worship God because I feel him to be worthy of my devotions, love and honor. I have always felt a very strong concection to Him; His presence has never left me. If anything I've come closer to Him in changing my religious "outer label." Only after I had become a woman did I really feel His presence in my life. Before then I had belived as a child belives. He had stayed a secret in my heart for a long time because He was not the God I was taught to belive in. I was and I am still in love with a God. I was raised to belive in a strict and litteral interpertation of the Bible and the thoughts of my heart did not reflect the bible in anyway except in a negative light. I perhaps belived in one of those other gods. Getting a grip on that thought was freedom. I worship Priapus; not as a historical reconstruction, but as a synergistic phallic deity shareing more that a few attributes of Shiva. It can be corretly assumed that some of my rituals are sexual in nature but that is not the aim of worship. I view Priapus as a fertility deity, the ultamate creative principal; the wellspring of all life. My own little rituals are simple affairs with little Wiccan influence. A prayer before the tilling of the garden, supplications while planting seeds, offerings of warm milk on holy days are just a few ways I try to honor Priapus. Priapus is for the moment the only male deity that I make devotions to. He is not the only deity that I worship. I include Gaia in my daily devotations. To me they are my patron Gods. They have guided me for many years now and I have loved them.
