Well, despite knowing the ancient art of the stars (read astrology) I am taught by my faith not to actively act out on that knowledge as it is considered a minor form of shirk (association) in that the stars having knowledge of the future places an an attribute of Allah within the creation, thus a minor form of association. This said however I find that given I believe signs are made visible, and not even a quark can move without the will of the infinite and absolute, I find the phenomena of eclipses and such like interesting. There is no doubt that significance has been placed upon them for many millenia.

I recall some years ago I had a dream and then an 'omen' in the shape of a crescent moon which appears to have some relevance in later years. I think of the stories of Joseph, omens, dreams, etc., and of course things more current and thought that in later years what happened yesterday may in fact have resonance both astronomically and politically.
