Little help with a dream interpretation... (tradition, myth, pagan, divine)

Howdy pagan peeps, i figured you guys would be the best ones to come to for a dream interpretation, well.... i'm hoping you are

A couple of nighs ago i had a dream, i can't remember events but certain imagery is still very vivid. There was a young woman with black hair, blue eyes in a white dress. She was connected with a blue flower, can't remember how, maybe she was holding it. I remember she went underground at one point, possibly down a fissure, i'm not sure. She seemed sad, maybe lonely.

Anyway, i got the distinct impression she was a goddess or some other divine entity, and i've been getting flashbacks of her all day.

Any idea who she might be, or any other interpretations?

That usually signifies the coming of Autumn and the "going under" of the Spring/Summer goddess. Most traditions have a myth for it. In Norse Lore, it's Idun, who falls into Helheim for a spell; there is another where Njörd (Summer) goes to stay with Skadi (Winter) for 9 nights, but she stays with him for three. (Norse had shorter summers and springs).

Anyway, in Idun's case, She sat at the bottom of the World Tree with a mournful expression for all of winter, while her husband Bragi stayed with her. Being that the Fall Equinox is here, it's not a surprising dream.

Go with your feelings on this Halcyon . If her message is important , then your will get other signs that will help you understand . If you don't , then you have already gotten whatever she wished to tell you { on some level of consciousness }.

What i'm really interested in though, is if she rings a bell with any of you. I honestly believe she was a goddess, maybe that i've read about before but can't remember - i'd like to research her.

To sum up again, as far as i can remember she was beautiful, very pale skin with jet black hair, she was associated in some way with a blue flower. She went underground, i think it may have been a tunnel when i concentrate on it hard. And i think she may also have been associated with a maze or labyrinth somehow. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm... Did she go down the tunnel willingly? Was it as if her descent was a duty? Did she look back at you while going down, or straight ahead?

I wish my knowledge of flowers was better. Did you get any impression as to what kind of plant it might have been from? Also, do you associate her with a cut flower, or one that's still on the vine? (Like a Morning Glory, for example.)

Lol. she jumped down, but she looked sad about doing it - in fact i think i jumped down after her, but woke up before we reached the bottom.
The flower, i don't know anything about them, but for some reason i keep thinking its an Iris, do you get blue Iris flowers? I think it was cut, or picked.

The Purple Iris is the flower of the Greek Goddess Iris . If it was she , you could be in for a major change Halcyon . { a Rebirth type of change } .

A Rose by a different name ? She very well may be Scott .
