Hello everyone. It's nice to see others who follow Asatru of similiar beliefs. Although I am delighted (First time I have ever used that word) now all that remains is to find local asatru groups in CT (Which is quite hard.)

I was just going to post a thread about this! I am really interested in Asatru and I am considering becoming an Asatruar. I got a really great book all about the Runes, then I just got a book yesterday called "The Rites of Odin" which talks all about the religion and it's events and holidays and it's prayers and stuff. Also, it's down right now but check out www.odinist.com. It is a forum just for this kind of talk!

This is probably pretty late, but oh well. Odinist.com is a great place. I hang there all the time, although I don't post much.

I wouldn't mess with the runes starting off. I don't even bother thinking much about them, unless you're simply speaking of them as an alphabet.

Hey Skhaal, I know the WBC is a pile of doodoo, but did they do anything big recently, or was that just a general comment?
