Recently I ran across a breeder that claims to breed 'Native American dogs'... what's with that? Does that claim hold any water?

The above link may help. more like a long history and journey from the grey wolf rather than a particular breed. Terry _____________________________ Amen! Truly I say to you: Gather in my name. I am with you. |

yeah we had lots of dog breeds over here... most of them are now gone.
Dogs served a variety of purposes from companionship to hauling loads, pulling sleds and as food. some examples including the 'native american dog breed'. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/nativeamericanindiandog.htm http://gator.biol.sc.edu/dogpage/ http://www.catahoulaleopard.com/homepg.htm http://www.peruvian-pasos.com/perudog.html http://members.aol.com/AHTerrier/xololink.html wa:do
