Ya, people that just here the story, no Academic credential, but you know I wouldn't be surprised if there were one or two out there that did have Academic credentials and still believe it was a myth....

Actually, they was wearing full plated armor. What they wore in the movie 300 would have had the Persian army laughing. Heavy armor consist of much more than a helmet, cloak, and speedos.

I remember going to see Troy with my girlfriend and telling her that the story of the battle of Thermopylae would have made a much better film. I was thinking of a more historically accurate depiction, but my precognition of Hollywood films is still on point.

Just so you know I also predicted a musical using pop songs way back when I was in high school 93 - 96 (Moulin Rouge), a remake of War of the Worlds, the movie Troy itself, and several others. I told my brother and girlfriend that they would make a movie out of Boise State's football season last year after their excitng bowl win and just saw on ESPN last week that the rights have been sold. I am making my next prediction right here, I would like to see an accurate protrayel of the Roman Empire during the Attila the Hun period. I see the title as "Scourge of God" or something like that and Attila portrayed as more then just a mindless barbarian. I'm thinking that Peter Jackson would be a good director, but I also think that David Fincher could bring a unique take on historical battle scenes.

A better Alexander movie should be required every other generation. Oliver Stone's version is useless.

In fact, one movie for each conquerer! Cheers!
