Everyone knows--or should!--the "falling tree" riddle: If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Does the seeking of "God" have a similar purpose?

When the tree falls, it makes sound waves. The waves don't turn into a "sound" until an ear hears it. By the same notion, god is a different essence that exists no matter if someone is around to "hear" it. But once someone "hears" it, our mind and soul tries to understand it's recent stimulus, and always falls short.

Perhaps it means we might need to go journeying deep into the forest of The Spirit,
if we hope to witness any "fallen trees".... or hear the voice of God.....

To seek out "God," a person must first understand what "God" is. This can only be done by meditating and studying the symbol in relation to the Self and its experiences. The same could be said of the "falling tree." In order to understand the riddle, one must contemplate the meaning of "sound" and "hearing," which is tied to a person's relationship with an event not witnessed.

What could be some of the conclusions? Master Vigil and The New Reality had some good ones.
