Is mysticism more or less compatible with the sciences than other religious traditions, beliefs, faiths, and notions?

More or less.
Mysticism is a seeking out of the Ultimate Reality or a connection with the Mystery or Wonder of existence. Religion can guide the seeker, but it can also build a wall.
