Default In your opinion who has the most powerful voice?
Simple question, which singer/artist whateever has the most powerful voice to you? Genre doesn't matter it can be metal, pop, rock whatever tickles your fancy.

To get the ball rolling my hero Simen Hestens has the most powerful voice to me, his work can be heard in Borknagar, Dimmu Borgir (more recently) and Arcturus.

Popular singers can not start to compare with a trained opera singer for unassisted power.

So was I..... Very very few popular singers have trained voices, with out major amplification their voices would soon fail, natural ability is not anything like enough.

In volume ...diction... clarity and in every other way an opera singer far exceeds the ability of the others. an opera singer can even make a stage whisper carry to the back of an audience with out help.
