What music soothes your savage beast?
When I get irritated with the world in general, especially the news I have to play some music to help me back into a good mood. Sometimes I play happy classic rock or oldies or Old-time gospel and other times I am so mad I have to play my Celtic Harp CDs from Patrick Ball (I have 5, including a Christmas CD). Other times only classical (especially Mozart) will help.
(When I am depressed I can only listen to fast rock music, slow music irritates me then, LOL) What kinds of music helps when you are in a bad mood?

When I'm angry at the world then I need angry music.
If I'm just feeling down or disconnected then I listen to more soothing music but not really upbeat stuff. Here is an example of the latter (youtube video): Green Carnation - Maybe? Not sure whether I prefer this or the studio version.

I'm with Fluffy on that. I was REALLY angry the other day - can't remember why - so I jumped on RF and cranked up some Opeth and Nightwish really loudly.
I was fine about 10 mins later, back to me happy old self. (But that could be the fault of RF - not necessarily the music  )
