Children of Bodom's "Angels Don't Kill" and "Everytime I die" has a history of putting me in a better mood when my spirits are down.

Certain bands' music is what I've got to have. Pretty much any mood I have I can listen to anything by NIN and I'm right as rain. In a good mood anyway? NIN or Queen. I'm a big fan of both those bands. Can listen to both of them all day long. There is just something about the flow and beat of their respective music and the voices of Trent Reznor and Freddie Mercury that just cut through me.

The calmer songs by Filter... no one's ever heard of them, but they're freakin' fantastic. The few people who've heard of Filter tend to call them the 'Take a Picture' band. It's probably their most famous song and one of my personal favourites. It's very calming.
