It's a nice song, I'm not too excited about it though... but who know's maybe I will get into it later..what's important is that our neaghbors, and the rest of Europe likes it! Anyways, what's with the Green in MARIJA...Hm?

My favorite so far this year is still Bulgaria and Georgia. I'm sure, though, that Turkey will replace them when their song is released. Kenan Dogulu or whoever you spelll it, he's singing Shake it Simbekeke (spelling?), which means sweetie. I just KNOW I'm going to love that one. lol

Amira Sadikovic has prepared the official English translation. For Americans reading this that probably sounds strange... the thing is, when you translate between languages there are many different ways to do it. You can translate literally, or you can translate the meaning.

You could say "Rijeka bez imena" is "River without name", literally. Or you could say "Nameless river", which is a translation of meaning. You can translate "Ja sam ona sto te voli" as "I am she what loves you", literally, or you can translate it by meaning as "Still, I am the woman who loves you"... Multiply that over an entire song and you sometimes get rather different than a literal translation would be.
