Singer only; can't play any instrument. I went to some free singing lessons recently (and then only because they were free) , and found, to my surprise, that with help, I could sing Tenor (which I have never achieved before).

I go from Baritone to Tenor now and I prefer to sing a capella anyway (which is a good thing since i can't play any instrument).

cardero is teaching me guitar also. He gave me a book to read. I was practicing the other night and after practice, my fingers started hurting. I have to exercise my fingers to extend them.

Is that hard? I mean being in an orchestra? I would get nervous and probably drop my instrument. I don't think I can play in front of all those people. Have you played in any major stuff?

I have always wished I played a musical instrument. My mom wasn't keen on the idea when I was a kid so I never learned. But, I would love to learn to play the bass or piano. I may take lessons yet. My son Brandon plays the sax, drums, clairnet and guitar. I love to hear him play his sax and I hope he gets good enough to get a music scholarship for college!

I play the piano and it's a lot easier then the guitar. My fingers won't blister on piano keys. I had a piano teacher, but then I started just playing by I should practice more, but I would like to learn the guitar. cardero makes it look so easy when he plays.

I use to play a recorder, in fifth grade, because it was a requirement in the required music class. Now, I play guitar once in awhile, but mainly bass. I use to play my bass in a band, I really want to play in a band again, but the couple of bands I have auditioned for didn't like my style. Don't know of it was too dark of a style, or if they just didn't want a bass player drawing attention away from the guitarist by actually playing the bass.

i played the clarinet! i failed grade 1 about three times, so i gave up demoralised, and have surpressed all musical tendancies since.......... wow, that sounds healthy

I can sing, though I don't do it in a band or anything at the moment.

My natural singing voice is actually very close to that of Roberto Messina from Secret Sphere for those of you who've heard them (I'll be surprised if any of you have )
