seems to me that anytime a big hollywood star is in a slump they come out with a new batman movie.

i wouldn't say that christian bale is in a slump...he does well in indie films...

PRO: Christian Bale is Bruce Wayne
CON: Christian Bale is not Batman

PRO: The costume looked great.
CON: Unfortunately it had more character than the actor in it and it seemed difficut to act in.

PRO: All-star cast
CON: They were all fed stilted expositional dialogue

PRO: First 45 Minutes was fantastic.
CON: The movie plummeted as soon as the costume was put on.

PRO: No too many computer generated effects.
CON: You couldn't follow the fight/action scenes through the sloppy editing.

PRO: Batman is finally shown as a hero to be feared.
CON: They never nail the personality correctly (May I suggest Cartoon Network's Justice League depiction of Batman)

PRO: Christopher Nolan steps up to the plate to direct.
CON: I never liked Momento.
