Sounds great, actually.
I read the premise of the story and it seems to be an unorthodox and more soulful rendition of the crusades apart from the atrocity that was Kingdom of Heaven.

It's not what you think, the whole movie is a dialogue between a Christian templar and a Muslim assassin, a woman and a Jew also enter into the dialogue, when they cross paths with them...
