What browser are you running?
IE has some problems running flash scripts.
Firefox shouldn't have a problem. If it does, try the beta version. It works for me.

I'd have no idea how to access Firefox. I'd probably hopelessly mess up my computer if I tried to do so.

An internet browser.
It is a program you run to access the internet. You probably use internet explorer right?
Either version 6 or 7 probably. Both have subpar flash optimization. You can download another program such as firefox which does a better job with flash.
