I have a cousin who has been quadriplegic for over 20 years now. Recently, he contracted staff infection in one of his legs and has had to have his leg, as well as some of his hip (due to cancer found there), amputated. His is in critical condition at the moment. It is even more heartbreaking knowing that he had hopes of walking again someday.
Any thoughts and/or prayers, karma, etc for him would be greatly appreciated. |

I'll keep your cousin in my prayers for strength, peace, and healing Mr. T.
Is there a chance for him to have a prosthetic to replace his leg? I don't know much about these things but maybe there is still hope he could walk again. Laurie

I'm not sure about the prosthetic. I'm sure that is possible, but that's something I'll have to look into. Thanks Laurie and Penguino.

I'm not one for prayers myself, but I do hope things work out for your cousin.

I'm sorry, Nick.
I surely hope they can control and kill the cancer which is the first order of business. I hope it makes you feel better to know people are thinking of and praying for your cousin. ![]() |

Well, we just received a call from one of my Great Aunt's....my cousin will not live throughout today as he suffered a heart attack and his blood pressure is rapidly dropping. Apparently the infection spread through his entire body despite the amputation.
This will be my second funeral in less than a month. For those of you who don't know, my grandfather died last month. I'd like to go to some damn weddings for a change. Anyways, thanks anyways for your your prayers and stuff guys. Just thought I'd give you an update. |
