We're gettin' ready to do our trick-or-treating tonight with the younger kids. So, the excitement is here for Halloween, and I also wanted to extend best wishes to all who celebrate Samhain, too!
![]() Last year I made Kitty Litter cake for a Halloween party. This year, we're just trick-or-treating in the neighborhood, and possibly my mother's neighborhood if we have time. What is everyone else doing? Peace, Mystic |

I'm dressed as a dork, but I'm not getting any candy 'cause nobody can tell the difference.

Thanks ^^ A Happy Halloween/Samhain to you as well
Today I'll be hanging around and organizing my new craft room, then handing out candy to kids. I'll be festive though, I'm wearing a witch hat with pink feathers and silver tinsel. The party/ritual for the holiday is taking place on the 3rd.

i'm heading out now to buy a pumpkin to make soup with, and of course i'm buying a bottle of mead. my festive plans tonight involve drinking said mead, eating said soup, and a good couple of hours of ritual fun and trance.

I just threw on a quick costume to post a bit. I'll sit at home and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters, watch TV and then go to bed

What Does it Mean?!?
(my very most favorite question!) The "halloween" "type"ology" has become such a deep part of the re-defining of myself and my daughter.... each year brings some NEW "inner-liner" majick... quite by suprise... We're goin out to the mall. Little ones are dressed up. Movie star cat, and mermaid. Our main destination... Hot Topic. My older daughter is wearing her custom made emily dress... not because it's "halloween".... but because she IS Emily. (Corpse Bride) I am wearing my NEW apparal. Black t-shirt, amulet (purples and metal), I redid my purple hair die nice and fresh... got my three beaded braid strands. New contact lenses. That's me from now on. (at least for a season) She(Emily ) and I went out as our TRUE SELVES...last friday to see NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS 3-D. Along with the visual depth and the wide screen... came all new insights about life in that movie.... deep and wide. Then we sat there in Panera... the only ones dressed "unusually" (I also donned a purple witches hat) and discussed the movie... the world... who we are... who we are in this world... and the wonderful reasons we don't fit in. (I LOVE my 15 year old. We are truly best friends) Anyway.... Hope you have all seen through the veil just a bit this season... or at least had some good old fashioned fun! ![]()
