Has it been dry in Maine this year?

Michigan had a terrible dry spell and some of the leaves were falling when I was there in mid-August. I've not seen it happen that early before.

I don't think it's been abnormally dry, we had a LOT of rain in the spring though. I think it's just because the temperature has been screwy, 60's the last week and high 80's today.
