Recently, someone called one of my poems, "bottled life". Consequently, I feel compelled to offer marriage to her, since she's just about the only one who can see the genius in my poetry. The problem is she lives in Canada -- a known wilderness -- where she presumably hunts moose with nothing more than a knife and loin cloth. How can I possibly impress such a woman enough that she will marry me and continue to praise my poetry?

Write or dedicate some poetry to her.
OR, send her money. |

Have you tried beating your chest and tossing handfuls of dirt and leaves into the air?

Of course! Why didn't I think of that! If it worked for my ancestors, it shoud work for me. But I wonder if she's really into traditional courtships? She seems kind of liberal. Should I substitute copies of the Atlantic Monthly for the dirt and leaves?

Entice her to Colorado with promises of back-bacon and the fanciest parkas and tuques in all of Denver!
