The thousand mile high club
I've just reached my 1000th post, the highest I have ever gone on any website.
I'd like to thank you all as a community, this place is like a second home to me now, i've learnt a lot from people of all faiths and am proud to be a part of such an excellent site. So heres to you guys and gals   And on with the show...

Orichalcum you started out as a Christian became an atheist or agnostic for a few weeks and than became a follower of the vedanta faith. Tell us how religious forums has helped your spirtual journey and a few of the insights you have gained from this cyber community.
Congrats!! now only on the # of posts but on the consistantly high value of content of your posts. You are one of the better thread starters around here.

Thanks Robtex, it has been an amazing journey here.
Christianity went out the window, which was weird, as I followed it for quite a while, unfortunately there are too many so called Christians that ruin it for others. So for a time I was in the dark recesses of my soul, contemplating whether God did or didn't exist, it was only because of this site and certain members ( you know who you are) that I pulled through. I had numerous arguments in chat as to the nature of God, the divinity of Jesus, atheists and Hell. I wouldn't allow myself to believe that those who didn't follow Jesus were damned, or that those who believed nothing were equally damned. It was Seynori who impressed me with some of the things said, and that piqued interest in my current religion. I have often been humbled on this site, the intellect of many members is astounding, I have become a lot more tolerent and hopefully more intelligent. And it's all thanks to you lot. Cheers  .
