![]() Politically, I would not describe myself as liberal, but in the religious realm, I consider myself a Liberal Christian.

What if I like change and progression, but don't change my dogma?

I am a Unitarian Universalist in the truest sense of those terms. I am a liberal Christian who believes in the Oneness of God and in the final harmony of all souls with God.

Hey,
Well I go to a UCC (United Church of Christ) and if anything is liberal/ progressive, that would be it. Some people say that UCC means: Unitarian Considering Christ. It is supposed to be insulting, I think. But, in my case, I like it. I even tried to put it in the slot, describing me, but I didn't get too far, as you see. :-) I think another characteristic, btw, would be more into the life of Jesus, then the death and resurrection of Jesus. Anyone think this one works? BTW, there are moderates, who are not born-again, btw. I'm not sure they are all fully liberal/progressive. It would be the dominate ideas expressed in many mainline churches (like American Baptist, many Methodists, many Presybterians, etc.) --des |
