Test 1 (just my top 5)
1. Eastern Orthodox (100%) 2. Roman Catholic (100%) 3. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (94%) 4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (87%) 5. Seventh Day Adventist (87%) That's accurate. Even though I'm actually in category 3 (Mainline to Conservative Protestant), I agree with the RC and EO churches enough that they're in many ways a closer match for me. My results 2 and a half years ago:
1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (100%) 2. Unitarian Universalism (99%) 3. Liberal Quakers (95%) 4. Neo-Pagan (85%) 5. New Age (82%) 6. Mahayana Buddhism (77%) 7. Theravada Buddhism (75%) 8. Sikhism (75%) 9. Hinduism (73%) 10. New Thought (70%) My results today: 1. Secular Humanism (100%) 2. Unitarian Universalism (91%) 3. Nontheist (78%) 4. Liberal Quakers (74%) 5. Theravada Buddhism (70%) 6. Neo-Pagan (63%) 7. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (56%) 8. Taoism (51%) 9. New Age (46%) 10. Orthodox Quaker (39%) I'm much less surprised by these results. Perhaps my beliefs and my analysis of my beliefs is now more coherent? Again, my beliefs 2 and a half years ago: Economic Left/Right: -5.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.62 And today: Economic Left/Right: -8.38 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.10 I'm becoming more politically extreme, it seems.

First quiz
1. Mahayana Buddhism (100%) (good I am, at least I know what I believe, I buying what I'm selling) 2. Taoism (99%) Yes, I'm a Ch'an Buddhist Mahayana Buddhism mixed with Taoism I agree) 3. Theravada Buddhism (81%) (I live in a Theravada Buddhist country) 4. Secular Humanism (79%) (I'll go along with that) 5. Non theist (72%) (Atheist? yes, I am I agree) 6. Unitarian Universalism (70%) (I don't know about this one the belief is all over the place) 7. Hinduism (60%) (My dear Hindu Brother and Sisters this is no surprise many Buddhists have Hindu tendencies and vise versa) Well, none of this actually applies to me but I took it anyway just for kicks pretending I was a Christian for the moment. What's your theological worldview? You scored as a Emergent/Postmodern You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this. Emergent/Postmodern 79% Modern Liberal 36% Classical Liberal 36% Charismatic/Pentecostal 32% Roman Catholic 7% Economic Left/Right: -1.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.15 What does it mean??? |

Test #2 What's your theological worldview? You scored as a Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavily by John Wesley and the Methodists. 79% Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan 71% Emergent/Postmodern 68% Neo orthodox |
