I don't understand the comparison. Does one need to know a lot about Star Trek to get what you mean?

madhatter,

why are you so exceptionally unforgiving of DisneyMan, our fellow brother of the church?

why do you constantly look at everything he says with cynicism instead of reaching out for the spirit from his posts?

Why do you constantly mock this man who, being endowed, is quite literally one of the Lord's anointed? why do you consistently try to goad him into agreeing with your own personal perspective?

Star Trek knowledge helps.

My comparison has to do with Shatner's delivery of lines. It's fairly dramatic with lots of pauses and emphasis.

Maybe I can find a video on youtube that provides an example of what I'm talking about.

Thanks for the effort, Worshipper, but madhatter and I have a long history. I've tried talking to him about personal perspective before and he basically believes the only right perspective is the Lord's perspective and he (madhatter) has the uncanny ability of always knowing what that is.

I appreciate what you're saying. I've felt that way nearly every time.

Pinhead here. I loved the talks of General Conference. I felt inspired. A spiritual injection for the next six months.

On another note, me and Disney have had some misunderstandings and disagreements. But we are still brothers in Christ. I am guilty as the next person of overstepping the lines due to pride and wanting to be "right". Let's work and pray for each other to resolve our differences and respect each other, even if we don't completely agree on everything.
