90% of the people I work with probably have something similar on the wesites of the churches they attend. That doesn't bother me either. Most of them have probably never seen such a document or even thought about it all that much. I doubt that Palin has either ![]() Actually - that statement is pretty tame and seems reasonable enough to me (trying to see it from their POV at least).

Thanks, Jonny. You continue to do a good job of bringing the GOP's view of Mormonism into the light.

Meh, I don't think that Palin's religious upbringing should count any more than Romney's. There was an "Evangelicals for Mitt" website that pointed out there should never be a religious test for presidency. Are we saying there should be?
That being said, I probably won't be voting for McCain, but for other reasons.

The world will all know soon enough that we are Christian.
Any Christian denomination that doesn't regard Mormons as Christian, clearly needs to get out of their small religious box. Mitt will continue to demonstrate to the world that we are a Christian religion, and Palin may be the first to recognize the Christian side of Mitt and be an instrument in correcting this mind set, in her future speeches to the world. I see it as just one step closer to Christ's reign, when all enemies will be shamed. Last edited by FFH; 09-05-2008 at 12:59 AM. |
