No wonder people are so confused. Some people don't want a Muslim, a Morman, a Black, a Woman, a Catholic, a Jew, or God forbid a GLBT to run for President. Don't they have a group or something? Remind me again which party the KKK belonged to?

That's part of the problem: to us there is no distinction between Mormons and Mormonism. A faith that is as encompassing as ours makes it so that a Mormon becomes a living embodiment of Mormonism.

Take me for an example. Sure, I base my decisions based on a lot of factors, but part of the core of who I am is because of the Church. People who try to attack the Church are attacking a part of the core of by entire being. I can't separate Mormonism from me, the Mormon.

That's why attacks are so personal to us.

Then what are you upset about? You just confirmed a lot of what the article said. (FYI: I was sealed in the L.A. Temple to my family)

In our Church there is never a discussion of any other denomination or does our Pastor ever tell anyone what Church to attend. He tells visitors they are welcome and to please come back if they wish. What would be worse than to go visit another church and hear the Pastor downing some other church? I would not go back....
Some people that attend a church do not agree with every stand that a church takes on different views so I think you have to give people the benefit of the doubt....As far as a politicial stance, our Pastor just says pray about it and follow your heart and your convictions...
