So is my bishop being self-righteous or a bigot for doing this ????
I agree with you. Your bishop would not be a bigot. Bishops are judges in Israel. He has the right to do so. The rest of us are not to judge. We are to love and forgive, which does not mean we condone the behavior.

I've been approached by many males in the past, it's probably the most frightening situation I've ever experienced, time and again, in this life, I know, in part, how women must feel, when they are threatened by a male.

I've had some narrow escapes, due to my naivity, when I was much younger.

Thank God, God protected me, time and time again.

I have been in situations where I felt my life threatened, many would have taken advantage of me and possibly left me for dead if I didn't heed the warnings of the spirit, and removed myself from very dangerous situations.

We live in a dangerous society and it's getting much worse.

I was recently approached by some sixteen year old homosexuals who blatantly asked me if I was "available".

I'M FOURTY TWO !!!! I yelled at the top of my lungs, so all could hear, "I''m not gay," only I used another word for gay, which I won't repeat here, it just came out at the time, I was so upset at these YOUNG KIDS, who had no sense of right and wrong, it seemed. They left me alone after that. I was not shocked, I've worked with people like this in the biz I'm in, it's getting very bad.

We are in a SODOM and Gommorrah time in history. Destruction will ultimately follow, as it did in the Book of Mormon, give it a few more years, maybe ten, twenty, who knows.

I am not saying homosexuality is not a sin. I'm saying my religious opinion of the behavior should not influence the rights and wrongs of civil government. I can believe a behavior is wrong and still allow for civil equality.

Reminds me of a song...

"I see you true colors shining through..."

All your post does is make you seem like a homophobic psycho. Do you yell at the top of your lungs if your kids do something you don't like? Or, do you try talking to them like a reasonable person? Is it only because they are gay that you scream? How shameful such behavior is to me.

Civil "equality" is a clever guise or term used by legislators...

Look up the "Fairness" Act, which is another clever term used to disguise legislation that would silence any Christian from being able to say phrases like, "Jesus is the Christ" over any airway.

General Conference could not be legally broadcast if this legislation passes.

The same legislators that are supporting things like this, also support same sex marriages, so we are giving them power that will ultimately hurt us in the end.

"Pro-choice" is another clever term used by those who legalize the killing of unborn children.

Believe me it took 20 years of being harassed by males to ever get to that point, it's not like me AT ALL, I've never done that before or since, it was so appalling that they were so open about it and so YOUNG, I wanted to make them feel as uncomfortable as they made me feel about myself as a human being.

They had no respect whatsoever for what I thought, as so many seem to do the same here, I was just an object to them, sound familiar ???

Women go through the same things.

LOL!!!!!!!

You just screwed up, pal. I've done considerable research on the Fairness Act and it would do no such thing. In fact, when the Fairness Act was at its peak, conservative talk shows took off.

Your credibility sinks with every post you make.

Sure, the "Fairnaess Act" was in place in the past, but that was then, this is now, things are much more intense, Satan knows his time is short and will try to silence those who would proclaim righteousness.

We're not living in the 50's, these are the final years of this world's existence as we know it, when Satan's powers will rule and reign with a furry on the earth and will try and silence those who proclaim righteousness in spite of intense opposition.

By the "weak and simple" God establishes his word.

you clearly didn't do enough research. the fairness Doctrine in the 1970's did indeed prohibit certain views from being expressed on the air withou the opposing view also being broadcast.
