Very cool article! What gets me is why these scholars don't accept that Mormonism is true when they see the evidence like they are seeing. It just makes no sense.

With the evidence mounting the link between the truthfulness of the BOM and pre Columbian culture continues to narrow. But you know scholars with a PhD many times are the most dumb people I have ever met

Reformed Egyptian did not exist in Egypt. It came about in New World:

When the family of Lehi first arrived they recorded their history in the language with which they were familiar namely Nephi said: "in the language of my father, which consists of the learning of the Jews and the language of the Egyptians. (1Nephi 1:2)

King Benjamin also stated:

"For it were not possible that our father, Lehi, could have remembered all these things, to have taught them to his children, except it were for the help of these plates; for he having taught in the language of the Egyptians therefore he could read these engravings, and teach them to his children, that therebt they could teach them to their children, and so fulfilling the commandments of God, even down to thepresent time. (Mosiah 1:4 (3)

While originally, one of the original written languages of Lehi's group was a form of Egyptian such as demotic, which began to be used 50 yrs before Lehi left Jerusalem, that language evolved, which may have been possibly due in part to contact with other cultures, into a language that became a modified or reformed Egyptian.

Nibley compares many ancient writing with the BOM, Pearl, etc... Here is an example:

Not all of those texts are ancient, and the bell doesn't designate newly found texts, but texts that are "new" to site -- although some of them have been there nearly four years.

Given that Yeshua most certainly studied in Egypt and that Moses was brought up an Egyptian this doesn't surprise me.
The Angel bit is a little too much though.
And yes, this whole article seethes of Gnostic Gospel.
