I was reading in Mosiah tonight with my husband and I came across this verse:
Mosiah 19:24 "And it came to pass that after the had ended the ceremony, that they returned to the land of Nephi, rejoicing, because their wives and their children were not slain' and they told Gideon what they had done to the king." What ceremony are they talking about? I couldn't find any footnotes or explanation for it. ![]() Thanks guys. |

it almost sounds like people going to jerusulm or another temple once a year to go to a ceramony of sacrafices... which they would need to do to follow the laws of moses at a temple or it was a custom that the king put into place to insure obedance from the people...
