I'd actually heard about it some time ago when I'd had a passing interest in free form mysticism, divination, and lucid dreaming. There were references back then to Tibetan Dream Yoga in sources for lucid dreaming, but they weren't extensive enough and only lightly touched upon how practices of lucid dreaming mirrored Dream Yoga practices.

It wasn't until I'd begun deeper practice in Tibetan Buddhism a few years ago when I'd discovered the Six Yogas of Naropa, and Dream Yoga is one of them. The Geluk Buddhist school doesn't publish a whole lot about it to us regular folk, but there are a couple of books out by Tibetan shamanistic practitioners of the more traditional Bon religion.

I joined RF a couple years ago because I googled "religious forums" hoping to find a place where I could discuss religion and spirituality with others as well as learn from others, too. I was, at the time, feeling stronger after having an illness in Oct. '05 that shocked my perceptions of life and death, and I was ready to find an online, all-inclusive "sang'ha" (community). I lurked for a few weeks before posting, and I always credit a few members for their posting habits that made me feel more at ease to register......two of which are Katzpur and Sunstone.

I am addicted to RF because I continue to fall in love with this community. It's like a family to me.

Without trampolines, there would be no bounce, no resiliency. I could jump up, fall down, and feel the weight of my falls and mistakes in full force. After many falls, I could very well be discouraged by the aches and pains. But trampolines provide a tool to practice "bouncing back" after our falls and our failures.

I don't believe trampolines are the key to world peace, though. I'd have to say that the key to world peace is available after I've banged the entire world being the whore of babylon that I am. That's just me, however.
