You gotta be quick on your feet. Think about whatever long or short term negative effects that a confrontation may have. If it can be left alone or if the person is an idiot that can't resolve things anyway, leave it alone. If it is something that just can't let slide then go for what you know. MOst of all never be a punk (not saying you are). If you kow that if you don't react now you're gonna kick yourself in the butt later for not reacting, then don't wait. Avoid fights at all costs unless ablsolutely necesary. It helps to have drawn your own personal lines within your self. Anybody crosses those lines must be dealt with. If they don't cross those lines they can probably be blown off.

I'm really glad that the first muslim moderator (as far as I know) is a woman...And Im really glad too for it being you...
I felt from some time ago that you got to be a moderator

Congratulations!

I lived in Indonesia for three years and had many Muslim friends who I still communicate with. I noticed there that in their largest of all Muslim countries, very few women wore the veil. Do you feel your minority self to be superior to this majority entrepretation of the scriptures? I do not mean this as insulting but just trying to figure out why the Muslim position of women's apparel is so extreme in one direction and the Western position so outrageously extreme in the other direction! In other words, I agree that women in the West expose far to much!

As an atheists, it is as though, to me, religions have to be extreme when it is normal to humans to show and feel some modesty without being dragged ideological to extremes of one sort or another.
