Economic communist, social libertarian. Communism being, at its heart, an economic ideal, though in recent history it has, unfortunately, come to be associated with very socially authoritarian regimes. I respect Marx and Lenin, but do not see them as being the be all and end all of communism by any stretch of the imagination.

Is there a specific area/time of classic history you specialize in?

Mostly Republic-era Rome, though the political and religious morass of late antiquity is also fascinating.

What drew you to the Kemetic faith?

A lifelong interest in Ancient Egyptian culture had me looking into it from very early in my immediately "post-atheistic" period and I found the concepts involved to be most agreeable. However, it wasn't until a direct encounter with Set (my first and thus far only "sirens and fireworks" spiritual experience) that I took a serious look at the religion as something that I could possibly adopt for myself. After some study, I decided I'd found somewhere I could at feel at home. Thank Set for kicking me in the right direction.

Which band/s would you most like to see in concert? Either defunct or still performing?

I listen to a few bands based in the US. Shadow Gallery is a US group, as is Jag Panzer. I think there a couple of others, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I'd love to see a Dragonforce concert. I'm told they put on a great show. I'd love to hit a Blind Guardian or Edguy show too.

Mmm, good question! I think it's because they have a lot of qualities I admire and would wish to emulate. When I was little, I used to stalk around the back yard of the house and declare to anyone who asked that I was, in fact, a fox that day. I guess some things never change!
