Name: Blayze or Joanna.. I go by both. Blayze is a nickname, as most of you already know. Joanna is my given name.

Gender: Female

DOB: May 5th, 1981

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Occupation: Phew, let's see.. I work in a tobacco store, co-own and write for my own local music magazine, I host and DJ for a weekly ladies' night at a bar in Montreal and I also book bands and set up gigs for a few venues around here. Oh, and I'm a single mom, and I'm going back to school next year. Think I could get any busier?

Well, I no longer do the music rag, I haven't had time for it at all, so I just let it go. Hopefully I'll be able to pick it back up soon. Also, I'm DJing at two bars now, not just one. Oh, and I haven't gone back to school yet.

Religion: Pagan. Mostly Kemetic Reconstructionist, but I also have slight Hellenic tendencies.

I'm kind of unsure and confused about my religion at the moment, which freaks me out because I've never been unsure of it. Right now, I'm kind of moving away from Kemeticism, and more towards Satanism, though Isis still plays a vital role in my beliefs... hence the confusion.

Origin of Life View: Uhh.. kind of difficult to answer. I'm somewhat creationist, but not in the Christian sense. I partially believe in the Kemetic AND Hellenic myths of Creation (I understand the two cannot have both happened, which is why my belief in the Origin of life is hard to describe), I'm also quite evolutionist...

Yeah... I'm pretty much evolutionist now.

Political Spectrum: Liberal..

Favorite TV shows: Gilmore Girls , Supernatural.. I don't really watch TV, though I am a closet Buffy fan.

Education Level : I finished a two year college degree in Liberal Arts and Psychology and I started University with a major in Abnormal Psychology and a minor in Art History, though I had to drop out for a while. I should be going back next year.

Other interests: Music, (musicians ) & Music history. I'm a buff and probably know more useless facts than I should. Horror movies.. Uhh.. seriously, that's about all I'm interested in. It's kind of sad.

Sadly... these are still my only interests, haha

My son's name is Justyce Reilly and he is 7 years old. Just finished Grade 1

Preparing for a night of DJing is really kind of simple for me. I'll spend the whole day beforehand depriving myself of music in all forms, so I can get as psyched as possible when I'm DJing. I like to enjoy myself when I'm DJing, it's not just a job to me, so if I deprive myself of music beforehand, I'll be raring to go when I step into the booth and put that first song on. I also like to make a general list of what I'd like to play, before I get to the bar, so I can have a basic idea of what the night's going to be like.

I make sure I get there a good hour before doors open so I can set up all my music in an order that, while to everyone else would seem chaotic, is perfect for me and makes for easy grabbing and playing.

Seeing as you are a lover of music, I was wondering if you play any musical instruments (I don't recall you ever making any mention either way before, so if you have before, I apologize). If you don't, are there any instruments you are interested in learning?

I play guitar and piano, though I can't say I'm particularly very good at either. I never took lessons for either, which, I suppose, is why I don't exactly excel at them and I haven't played my piano in quite a while. I'm basically just focusing on my guitar now, though I'd like to learn to play the Upright Bass sometime in the near future. I think that's my next endeavor.

i used to be a Buffy fan, but after the rise of the Angel series, Buffy went out the window... well, ok, the series where Spike spends most the time with his shrit off is good, but other than that....
