Origin of Life view: Don't know, but no deity involvement for sure - As for diversity of life, I believe in evolution.

Politics: I'm a damned, dirty socialist. No political party affiliation.

Other interests: Music, playing the cello, attempting to play guitar, politics/social issues, LGBT issues, literature, writing, nature (being outdoors), and some other stuff too.

What are you studying in school? What do you like to write and when you say "nature" what do you like to do in nature. On a side note since you are in school I have to tell you I met a lot of lesbians while studying martial arts. It may be one of those activities they gravitate towards.

Most often I write poetry, but I also write the occasional short story or flash fiction piece and was at one point working on a novel, but it has fell by the wayside for now. I'll maybe pick up on it again when I have more time.

Well, I used to go fishing alot, but only got out once this year on Easter sunday and it's looking like I may not be getting out any time soon, if at all this year. I also enjoy camping, but again, other responsibilities have gotten in the way (i.e. stupid job). I also enjoy hiking and just sitting around in nature parks in my area - and if I'm so lucky, going "Up North" (northern Wisconsin/Upper Peninsula of Michigan). It saddens me that this summer I haven't gotten the chance to do any of the things I enjoy involving nature.

I don't know. I wanted to play it since I first saw someone playing it when I was in first grade or so. That sitting down is absolutely neccessary in order to play was all the more motivation to play - 'cause I'm lazy and like sitting down. I would never really consider any woodwind instrument as I find them annoying, but sometimes I regret not learning the bass, but then, I'd have to stand up to play. I would like to learn piano though and to actually gain some skill with guitar.

I'm not a communist. See, socialism split into two branches - communism and democratic socialism. I am a democratic socialist. I believe in public ownership of things like utilities, power, etc. but private ownership is still allowed for other business. Also, workers would have more of a say in work place affairs - the work place would operate more democratically, though I believe there still needs to be a form of heirarchy in the work place, or not much will get done. But worker's rights is a big deal to me. I believe in strict regulation of business, since I don't trust businesses to do the right thing on their own. Protection of the environment is important, much regulation is needed for this. Progressive income taxes. Universal (national) health care. Welfare state. Blah blah blah. Economic equality (but not complete economic equality, there would still be differences in wages, just not such large gaps between rich and poor) is also important.

Do I think this is possible? Yes. Do I think it's going to happen? No, at least not in my lifetime.

I have seriously considered it, but lately don't find it a likely or realistic option, being a Green in a conservative area. If I ran for office, it would be local government, obviously. Though I have considered running for school board, but it isn't a possibility for me at this time, due to college.
