Phil in your paralegal career, what impact do you see spirtuality and religion having on laws in terms of clients and cases. Are you working for civil or crimminal lawyers? Which philosophers are you drawn to in your reading and how have they impacted your secular humanism? What do you like to draw?

And no mention of your latex doll ?...................Does she mean that little to you?
Drawing; have you got anything you can show on the forum? One other question though (if I may) You quote yourself as being a secular Humanist (and I have a great regard for that philosophy); yet you quote Religion as an interest. Is the interest in knowing how others 'tick', or is there any part of you that has a little "Well, maybe......." ?

You're my dad's age...
. But I've never met the man. It could be you........ He fits your description pretty close. Interest is Women, drinking, gambling, and he is a lawyer. All I ask from you is that you pay my student loans and we can call it even. Deal?

Rob,
At this point, I'm just studying paralegalism and have not yet gotten a job in the field. The philosophers that have had the greatest impact on me were Nietzsche, Charles Sanders Peirce, and Wittgenstein. I mostly do figure drawings of nudes, especially my Acme Latex Love Doll. Michel, My failure to mention my significant other was an oversight for which I've paid dearly. She has refused to speak to me ever since. I've always wondered what the attraction of religion is to people. It seems to be such a powerful force in human affairs, and yet the basis for it is so poorly understood. Victor, Son! I've finally found you! Feathers, I put it down to your procrastination in being born, but I forgive you for it out of my undying love for you.

Phil at what age did you transcend to non-theism and in the absence of a God how did you go about finding a moral code to live by?
