What is abiogenesis?

abiogensis is life from non life and the possible explaination of how rna becomes dna. For instance say you leave a jar of mayo out on the counter during the summer and bacteria forms in the mayo. A theist might say it's God's system in motion and in the sum of things his (God's) formula for life is such that the natural order of God's universe was for bacteria to form in the mayo. An atheist, who has no God would be more likly to conclude that abiogenesis is the reason bacteria showed-up in the mayo. Every year in Austin in the summer there are a few weeks were barton springs, a natural spring is not host to swimmers because of alge and bactria growth. An atheist would attibute that to abiogenesis.

Abiogenesis is also the accepted (norm) theory in the biology and genetics community. It has never been proven.

WOW...am I supposed to believe God turned that crap into bacteria? UH OH I never connected the 2 at all...so what else am I missing my friend??? :>)

I am not a big fan of the tube. To give you an idea I watched 6 movies in all of 2005. This year I have watched zeor movies in two months. I watch an average of 1-2 hours of television a month. So far to date I have not watched any shows. So when I answer your question factor that in please.

Favorite movie of all time..isn't so much one but the ones I have liked are, Underworld, the starwars movies ( I have seen 5 episodes but not chapter 3) , and the holyland movie.

I liked the charcater development in Underworld and the plot. In Starwars same thing and in Holyland I like the deep philosophical undertones of the movie. I like the chocolate wars for the same reason. Religion is a big part of both movies.

I don't really have a favorite actress but if you are asking what I like in women in general I can tell you I really like tomboys with a large independant streak in them. I like women who are creatively inclinded, passionate about their hobbies and sensual and comfortable with their bodies. The tomboy is a really big thing and so the creative personality.

I started reading genetics books two years ago to connect with a gf I was dating at the time. It is really difficult and intricate but amazing to read about. If you ask me what you are missing and how it applies to the scientific understanding of life I would encourage you to pick-up a book on genetics. I look for ones that say basic or introduction to alot because I am so new to reading this stuff. Here is a pretty cool link about it:
