interests- design...I like to design things from flower arrangements to buildings

occupation- housewife/retired designer

Religion- I'd like to list Christian here but since there are so many that call them selves Christian and make the rest of the Christians look bad I choose 'Child of God'

Origin of view- I feel God created everything as in the Genesis story, I don't feel it's important to understand it all but important to believe because I can't understand how NOT to believe.

Political Spectrum- I'm registered Republican but will follow my heart and not stick to party lines when it's more important to pick the right person and not the right party.

gender- female

Biggest pet-peeve- people who act as if they know it all when in fact no one does.

Awards/certificates- I have about 4 awards for my work with little girls cheerleading, 2 awards for volunteering in working with trying to be sure people had what they needed in bad situations in the military.

Favorite saying/verse/proverbs- John 5:24..."He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

I must say, there are people of all paths that list their religion as one thing and then make everyone of that religion cringe by their actions, but you are most assuredly not one of them!

If I can see something mentally I can design it physically right down to the blue prints. I enjoy my creative side...it's what makes me smile on days when there isn't a whole lot to smile about....of course there are other things but my designing and love of God NEVER let me down. I feel that this gift of design came straight from God because there is no way I should be able to know how to do all that I do when it comes to design. I can see things in many dimensions and I can put that all down on paper for someone to build. It's fun.

I have really never lost my faith but I did walk away from it for a while as a teenager/young adult and live on the worldly side....what brought be back was just a knawing inside that something was just not right inside of me...I had this desire to learn more about what God had in mind for me to walk this earth...I'd have times were I'd wake up hearing a hymn from church playing in my head and there was no shaking it away...It also happened around the time when I took a slippy black ice ride over a 35 foot embankment...I was resisting the feeling of re-centering my life back in the way of God...the last thing I remember saying as I went over the edge was "God...Help Me!" My car should have rolled,it should have caved in all over from the ride down and the trees that were in the way...but I landed sort of like Dorthy in the land of Oz with a jolt. The car was still running and sitting on all 4 wheels but slightly sideways. It was a straight drop-off so where I landed no one could see me down there from the road. I turned the car off and climbed out the window and could barely breathe...I felt as if all my ribs were broken but I had to find a way to climb back up that embankment which was a sheet of ice...to make a long story short I knew why I was at the bottom of the bank instead of on the road...God needed my attention and trust me HE GOT IT!!! I learned a lot about what 'thoughts' meant that day.

4; the first was born in 1999,the 2nd in 2000,the 3rd in 2001 and the 4th one in 2004. They are beautiful for boys...we get stopped in the stores all the time and told they should be on the cover of magazines...folks drive me a little nuts in their wanting to admire the boys...one actually toook one of their toys and teased them with it...I must apoligize but all I could think of is GERMS...I just never saw the fuss being made over them as anything at first but it's continued for the last 5 years so perhaps I have the most handsome little guys on the planet...Kindergarden the first day 5 little girls HAD to hug on my oldest grandson Ty...He just stood there with a big smile and dimples shinning on his face. OH my, I have to wonder what the future holds...LOL

Very nice. I would say you are quite visually oriented. I majored in Interior Design in college but I think when you are a designer by nature, it translates into other areas as well. I can do landscape design and my current occupation is jewelry design.

Are you working on anything specific right now? Do you use a CAD program or do you draw your plans by hand?
