Amazingly enough we were the first to do that in our area...now there are several other families who have taken on the same perspective we did in children adding on to their parents home. Actually I was surprised to learn that my grandsons teacher and her family have done the same things as of 2 years ago...Perhaps it will catch on and families will become closer and realize that family really matters more than anything. Children with a strong sense of family and love seem to fair better emotionally than do those who hardly ever get adult time...In our house there is ALWAYS an adult ready to do homework, give a hug,BE THERE for whatever may be needed...it's all for the kids and their nurturing!!! There is always a hot meal freshly prepared in the evening...a snack waiting after school as well as a "How was your day?" It's actually the idea situation given all teh aspects...even with a few downfalls it's still the best situation overall.
