I just noticed.I really enjoy reading history and metaphysics. It's hard for me to pick because I enjoy both very much. I don't have a favorite author, but I do enjoy reading up on St. Jerome. Also, I'm currently reading a book by Sam Harris.

Sorry just noticed your question...
My favorite debates revolve around what is known as "High Church" issues. Usually involves Christian history. I also very much enjoy philosophical debates. And lastly science debates.
