What is the official Jewish view concerning Yeshua Ben Yosef (Jesus)?

Was he a prophet? A wisdom teacher? (I know Jews don't consider him Moshiach)
Or was he a sinner and a liar according to Judaism? I've heard several different answers and I'm wondering what the official decree is.

Is it true that Jews are saying, "May his name be erased," whenever they say his name?

there is no view

he's about as important to halachah and judaism as a religion as Jeff Gordon.

he was just some guy (maybe) who, like alot of jews at that time, was executed as an enemy of the Roman Empire.

Jeff Gordon's a bit cleaner cut too. LOL! To me and from my studies of what a Moshiach is and what a Christ is are two completely different things. No one can atone for someone else's sins, we are not to worship, pray to or deify the Moshiach, we can have salvation and forgivness of sins without the Moshiach and we can have a direct relationship with G-d. All the things that we are told Jesus provides are already provided.
