Just a few interesting points here. In Job and Isaiah God is portrayed with a womb also "giving birth to Israel". In Malachi God is portrayed as a "young wife". In Luke Jesus portrays his Father as a "woman searching for a lost coin". Jesus in Matthew portrays him self as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings..

Actually, G-d is thought to have both feminine and masculine aspects. Of course, he-she-it is considered ultimately unknowable, but her presence is sometimes referred to as "shechina", which is female.
