It is the global system of religion that bares the earmarks of ancient babylon....revelation chapter17,18. consider some of the similarties,The priests of ancient babylon were deeply involved in the nations political affairs ,that is true of much of religion today.Babylons priests often promoted the nations warfare. Modern- day religion has often been in the forefront of those blessing soldiers as the nations have gone to war.The teachings and practices of ancient Babylon led the nations into gross immorality.When relgious leaders today push the bibles standards of morality aside, immorality is rampant among the clergy and laity.Noteworthy also is the fact that because Babylon the great prostitutes herself to the world and its political systems , Revelation depicts her as a harlot...the bible says that babylon the great lives in shameless luxury,in ancient babylonthe temple organization acquired extensive land holdings, and the priests became prominent in comercial activities.today in addition to places of worship ,babylon the great has vast comercial holdings. herteachings and her holidays bring great riches both to her and to others in the business world.use of images ,magic,and sorcery were common in ancient babylon, as they are in many places today . death was viewed as a passage to another kind of live. Babylon was filled with temples and chapels in honor of its Gods, but the babylonians opposed worshipers of Jehovah the same beliefs and practices identify babylon the great.In ancient times Jehovah maneuvered powerful political and military nations to punish those who showed persistent disregard for him and his will.thus samariawas destroyed by the assyrians in 740 B.C.E. Jerusalem was devasted by the babylonians in 607B.C.E. and the romans in 70 C.E. Babylon in turn, was conquered by the medes and the persians in 539B.C.E. For our day, the bible forcasts that political goverments,like a wild beast,will turn on the harlotand strip her naked, exposing her real charter, They will completly destroy her ...revelation 17;16will the worlds goverments do such a thing? the bible states that God will put it in to their hearts...revelation 17;17it will be sudden, surprising, shocking, not forseeable,or gradual .i find that is certainly something to think about because the bible tells us to get out of Babylon the great

when the city was planned and built, they incorporated satanic symbols in the street plan. it is said that this city is the most modern day occult place in the world.

also, take a walk through the past 50 years of american history in paticular foreign policies and c.i.a. practice. very, very, evil business indeed! and just think, this is how we came about our wealth

while your at it, look into freemasons and jesuits other wise known as the brotherhood. these were the guys who planned, built, and ran that city then all the way up to now. be sure to check out anything you can find on them from ancient times up to modern times, in paticular their ritual and symbolism, etc.

the entire thing has to do with new world order which is a one world government and our movers and shakers and political leaders have been calling for this for quite some time.

you see, the u.s. has always been a place where others have looked up to and wanted to be a part of because we defeated our colonal masters and created a wealthy country. we gave all the other colonies the inspiration for nationalism, and just think about the shockwaves world wide if this country suddenly was destroyed by war, or finanical bankruptcy, etc.? also one more thing to add, if you read further in the rev. book, you will notice that it states that in order for the antichrist to rule to be a reality, a one world government must happen first. in order for a one world government to happen, the only super power must be destroyed and this is babylon.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; Daniel 2;44 this is the goverment that will take over the affairs of man, it is the goverment that was set up in the heavens in 1914 in line with bible prophecy and chronology, it was set up while manmade goverments were still ruling , notice it says IN THE DAYS OF THOSE KINGS so it is now set up and ready to go into action , it will never come to ruin and it will not be passed on to other people . Jesus is now a reigning king , he has the legal right of the kingship . this kingdom will bring PEACE to the earth, but first Babylon the great(the world empire of false religion) will come to her end. this will be the start of the Great tribulation and the bible book of revelation is telling Gods people to GET OUT OF FALSE RELIGION REVELATION 18;4 Its all happening in this time of the end , this system of things will come to its end , but Gods heavenly kingdom goverment will stand forever.

Armageddon is not a human war confined to a particular place It is Jehovah’s war, and it is global.
Note, however, that at Revelation 16:16, Armageddon is called a "place." In the Bible, "place" may signify a condition or a situation—in this case, that the entire world will be united in its opposition to Jehovah.
