When did you decide to wear hijab?

Well, at least to me hijab is not only "outward appearance", I did talk about this earlier in the thread. I am thinking now what situations at which I would choose between my hijab and death but absolutely it's going to be a situation of oppression and humiliation and I believe I won't give up my hijab whatever the consequences are.
Ringer, when accidently someone sees me without my hijab, I get a feeling like someone slapped me over my face or something and I rush to wear hijab.
